Wild and Crazy

I love searching for bold prints from around the world. Im drawn to the vibrant colors and distinctive patterns. Crop tops and circle skirts in Indonesian batik and African dutch wax print.

Twenty four rows

24 rows of embroidery on these dresses, it takes a long time, but after a while it's a zen-trancy thing. A simple shift shape with a sash, in chalk cotton.

I can't stop!

More embroidery, sheesh! I'm super excited about the yoke embroidery on these Tejana dresses. It's nice when experiments come out lookin' good!

Easy. Breezy.

This new skimmer dress is both. I think the beauty of this dress is in its simplicity, easy to make and easy to wear. And it looks great in white chalk cotton and both red and blue linen!

It's not easy.....

but I love working on embroidery projects. Picking the colors and patterns and dress, I'm very satisfied when it all comes together. For example, this chalk cotton Tejana dress took maybe 3 hours, and worth every minute!
